We’re excited to recruit for this newly created role of Assistant Director of Transformation at Golding. This pivotal position will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our organisation by leading the Transformation function.

You’ll drive the successful delivery of strategic, large-scale projects and programmes that are essential in achieving our long-term organisational goals. With a focus on innovation, change management, and aligning initiatives with our overall strategy, you’ll ensure that transformation efforts are impactful and support the continued growth and success of Golding Homes.

What you'll be doing???

This is a key position, where you’ll provide strategic thought leadership, expertise, and guidance across several critical areas, including business change, service design, PMO, and project delivery. As the Assistant Director of Transformation, you’ll be instrumental in shaping and embedding a new transformation team that will be essential for driving our organisational objectives.

You’ll implement and manage robust governance processes and frameworks, supporting the Executive Team with prioritization of initiatives and benefits realisation. Your strategic oversight will ensure that all transformation efforts are aligned with our overarching goals and deliver tangible outcomes.

Leading the transformation agenda across the organisation, you’ll collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to gain a deep understanding of our business operations. You’ll identify opportunities for improvement and translate these into actionable transformation capabilities that enhance our efficiency and effectiveness. In this role, you’ll define principles and standards that harmonise project management methodologies, whether sourced internally or from external service providers. Building strong relationships across Golding Homes will be crucial to ensure that our Transformation function is seamlessly integrated into all aspects of our operations, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Your leadership will not only guide the transformation initiatives but will also inspire and empower your team to innovate and excel, positioning Golding for long-term success in a rapidly evolving environment.

More about you. What can you bring????

We are seeking an exceptional leader with a proven track record in managing a transformation function, including overseeing a project management office.

You’ll bring extensive experience as a senior change leader, adept at defining project scope, costs, and benefits, while securing stakeholder agreement and directing teams through successful implementation. Your ability to navigate complex projects and drive results will be key to our transformation efforts.

As a Prince2 certified professional (or equivalent) you’ll have a strong background in successfully delivering projects, programmes, and organisational change initiatives. You’ll be well-versed in applying best practice change management methodologies to ensure impactful and sustainable outcomes.

Excellent stakeholder management skills are essential for this role, along with the ability to communicate confidently and effectively at all levels of the organisation. You’ll possess a diplomatic approach, are a good listener, and demonstrate a genuine passion for customer satisfaction and delivering business benefit-driven solutions.

You will enjoy a 37-hour working week and earn an annual salary of £89,000 per annum.???
