Salary: £55,000 - £75,000 + Commission + Private HealthCare + Pension Contribution + Dental & Optical Care + Death in service

Our client are a leading specialist lender renowned for their expertise in bridging finance and buy-to-let (BTL) mortgages. Their commitment to excellence and innovative financial solutions has earned them a strong reputation in the industry.

Role Overview:

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our clients bridging finance and BTL mortgage products. You will be responsible for building and nurturing relationships with brokers, introducers, and other key stakeholders to generate new business opportunities. This is a field-based role that requires a proactive and strategic approach to meet and exceed sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, introducers, and other key partners.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow the bridging finance and BTL mortgage portfolio.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of our clients products and services, as well as those of their competitors, to effectively communicate their value proposition.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs set by the company.
  • Provide exceptional support and guidance to clients, ensuring a smooth and efficient application process.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes to provide informed advice and insights to clients and partners.
  • Regularly report on sales activities, pipeline status, and market feedback to senior management.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven track record in business development within the property finance sector (preferably bridging finance and BTL mortgages) however not a requirement. Client will look at candidates with Mortgage experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and partners.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven, with a proactive approach to business development.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full UK driving license and willingness to travel extensively within the designated region.
