We are working with a growing and well-established independent Building Control firm that operates across both the private sector and local authority. Due to continued expansion, they are looking for an experienced Building Inspector to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on Tier 1 projects, including hospitals, care homes, and other major developments

This is a predominantly remote role offering excellent flexibility and autonomy, covering a large geographical area across Kent and Sussex. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality building control services, ensuring compliance with the Building Regulations 2010 and subsequent amendments.

?????? ????????????????????????????????:

Provide technical expertise and guidance on Building Control matters to clients, including architects, developers, and construction professionals.

Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.

Oversee and manage a portfolio of construction projects

Assist in developing new business opportunities and promoting company services.

Attend design team meetings and liaise with Fire Authorities and other stakeholders.

Ensure all construction procedures are kept up to date with the latest legislation.

Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with Quality Management Systems and industry standards.

Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety regulations when attending construction sites.

D2 Class or above qualification in Building Control Inspection.

Full membership of RICS, CABE, ABE, or equivalent (or extensive relevant experience).

Strong technical knowledge of UK Building Regulations and industry standards.

Experience handling complex and large-scale projects, ideally within the healthcare, commercial, or residential sectors.

Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to guide clients and team members.

Ability to work independently and remotely, managing multiple projects across a large region.

A full UK driving licence.
