With a competitive salary of £70,000-£90,000 and a hybrid working model, you'll provide expert fire safety strategies and regulatory advice for complex projects and existing buildings. What Does the Role Entail?
As a Fire Engineer, you'll develop and implement fire safety strategies for existing buildings to ensure regulatory compliance. You'll identify and address fire safety deficiencies, focusing on complex structures such as high-rise and heritage buildings. Your role will involve conducting detailed fire safety inspections, offering practical recommendations, and tackling complex issues like evacuation modelling and compartmentation. Close collaboration with clients, architects, and Statutory Authorities will be central to your success.#
What Skills Will You Have?
To thrive in this role, you'll need strong fire engineering expertise and a deep understanding of Building Regulations and fire safety standards. Experience in developing fire strategies, managing complex fire safety issues, and providing expert advice to clients is essential. Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills will help you collaborate effectively across teams and represent the company at client meetings and industry events. Due to the location of the role and the nature of the role you must hold a UK driving license and have a car.
