Our client, a rapidly growing, family-owned regional house builder with an outstanding reputation for quality and collaboration. Based in Kent, the company has been expanding steadily over the last 18 months and is looking for a talented Commercial Manager to contribute to its continued growth and success.
About the Role:
As a Commercial Manager, you will report directly to the Managing Director, managing a portfolio of new build housing sites valued between £6M and £18M. This is a unique opportunity to step away from the larger PLC environment and join a close-knit, dynamic team that focuses on delivering high-quality developments across Kent and Sussex.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee multiple new build housing projects (50-100 units per site)
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects
- Manage the financial and commercial aspects of projects, ensuring profitability
- Work closely with the Managing Director on strategic growth initiatives
- Contribute to the company’s ambition to double turnover by 2030 and expand production to 500 units per year
About You:
- Proven experience in commercial management, ideally within residential construction
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage project budgets and forecasts
- Experience working on housing projects valued between £6M and £18M
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
