We are seeking a dedicated Credit Controller to join a friendly finance team. This role is ideal for someone who is methodical, has a keen eye for detail, and possesses strong communication skills.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Manage your own debtors ledger to ensure timely payment of invoices.
  • Perform credit control activities via phone and email.
  • Allocate payments accurately and deal with customer queries effectively.
  • Conduct credit checks and assess credit limits.
  • Liaise with internal colleagues to resolve any invoice queries.
  • Maintain accurate records of all credit control activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in credit control.
  • Strong ability to collect payments from debtors.
  • Excellent telephone manner and written communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of Excel and Word.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work methodically and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing situations.
  • Training will be provided on the bespoke cash allocation system used by the company.
