Our client a specialist within the Food Distribution industry is seeking an experienced Customer Documentation Specialist with a background within Food and an understanding of Quality requirements. To support the customer approval process by completing questionnaires and responding to queries related to their manufacturing site and formulations. Prepare statements for customers relating to the ingredients that they supply. Manage the customer questionnaire system from reception to completion and complete customer questionnaires within the agreed lead time. The Key Responsibilities:

  • Log and file all customer questionnaires from reception to completion including customer portal requests.
  • Maintain clear communication with the customer, the sales manager and other business partners during the completion process of questionnaires and queries to manage priorities.
  • Complete customer questionnaires within agreed lead time and coordinate with other departments to obtain information needed for customers
  • Respond to customer short queries related to regulatory, food safety, quality and CSR/ESG matters
  • Support continuous improvement program initiatives
  • Support the R&D department with other day to day activities as required.

The successful candidate must have a great understanding of Quality requirements and standard in the food industry (ISO, HACCP, BRC, GFSietc.) Must also have experience within a Quality, Technical of R&D role in the food industry would be desirable. IT Literate and knowledge of working with retail online specification systems preferred. A good understanding of Food Ingredients and their functionalities. You must be able to work under pressure and to tight time lines and be able to work as part of a team.
