This Customer Servies Assistant role is a great opportunity for someone to either gain office experience, to return to the office environment after a break, or for a retired person that wants to return to work on a part time basis. You would be working 3 hours per day, Monday to Friday (5 days per week), hours to suit you. This role is to cover a busy period. Although its unlikely to go permanent, the contract might be extended and there are other job opportunities within this company that you would be given the opportunity to apply for. Full training given.
Customer Service Assistant responsibilities will include:
- Collation and dispatch of correspondence
- Open and distribute customer correspondence to Customer Services Administrators
- Processing payment collection instructions
- Liaising with customers and financial advisers for outstanding information or requirements
- Setting up new, amend and cancel direct debits
- Deal with batching cheque payments and reconciliation
- Banking cheque payments
- Processing payments to the customer
- Filing, scanning and destruction of paper records
Knowledge, Skills & Experience required for the Customer Service Assistant:
- Good computer skills
- Good organisation skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Enthusiastic and adaptable
- Good communication skills
- Reliable and enjoys working in a busy office and team environment
- 25 days holiday plus 8 days Bank Holidays – Pro rata

This is a six-month contract. This role is fully office based.
