About the Role:

We're looking for an experienced SQL Developer to join our client, where you'll have a key role in developing, managing, and optimizing SQL databases while leveraging Microsoft Power Apps and Azure Data Factory to drive our data solutions. Your expertise will support projects primarily in the public sector-with a focus on housing, and other social services-helping them to transform data into positive life impacts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and scripts to support data-driven applications and reporting.
  • Design and implement ETL processes using Azure Data Factory for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading across multiple data sources.
  • Integrate and optimize Microsoft Power Apps solutions to automate workflows and enhance data accessibility.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, translating them into efficient data structures and processes.
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security, aligning with industry best practices.
  • Support data integration, reporting, and automation for public sector projects, especially in housing, education, and further public sector.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a SQL Developer, with a focus on database design, development, and performance tuning.
  • Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Power Apps to build and maintain no-code/low-code applications.
  • Solid knowledge of Azure Data Factory for ETL workflows and data movement.
  • Strong understanding of public sector requirements, particularly within education, housing, and other social services is highly preferred.
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams and effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Data Engineer Associate) are a plus.
