A long established manufacturing company in Medway Towns are looking to recruit a Factory Operative to carry out the inspection and quality control of their manufactured castings on a permanent basis.

Your duties will include:

  • Performing operational performance tests and calibrations using techniques specified
  • Understanding and applying proper cleaning and any other necessary preparation of the parts before and / or after inspection.
  • Proficiently setting up test pieces and conducting the required test of the part or assembly in accordance with specific procedures.
  • Conducting pre-use checks on all equipment.
  • Meeting production output targets - daily and monthly.

Whilst full training will be given for the right candidates, a background in manufacturing or engineering would be advantageous. Shift:

  • Monday to Thursday, 6:00am - 4:30pm.

The salary will be reviewed after 6 months.
