Candidates should have a relevant financial qualification such as ACCA, ACA, or CIMA, along with a proven background in financial reporting, particularly in a fast-paced SME environment.
The position offers a salary of approximately £55,000, along with bonus and benefits.

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join a dynamic and growing organisation based in East Kent. This pivotal role will lead a small team of three and take ownership of financial reporting, compliance, and board reporting, while overseeing the financial operations of the entire organisation.Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the preparation of annual statutory accounts and regulatory filings for all group entities.
Consolidate group trading accounts monthly.
Coordinate the audit process and act as the main point of contact for auditors.
Handle technical accounting for acquisitions and disposals.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and management accounts.
Assist in cash flow management and optimising working capital efficiency.
Responsible for the accurate calculation and submission of MGD, PAYE, and VAT.
Manage financial systems, controls, and process improvements.
Contribute to project work including working capital management, acquisitions, disposals, and debt restructuring.
Supervise and develop a small finance team.

You’ll need to be an accomplished Finance Leader ideally possessing a relevant financial qualification such as ACCA, ACA or CIMA, and be able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of IFRS, technical accounting and strong expertise in statutory accounting and management accounts preparation. You will have a proven background in financial reporting, particularly from within a fast-paced SME environment. Any experience with acquisitions would be beneficial. You should be deadline-driven, able to work effectively under pressure, and take ownership of tasks. A proactive, self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail, they should also have a passion for improving processes and driving efficiencies.
