Reed Accountancy & Finance are actively seeking an experienced Head of Finance to lead our clients' financial operations on a temporary basis. This pivotal role requires a strategic thinker with a robust financial background, capable of driving financial planning and providing leadership to the finance team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in financial management at a senior level and will be instrumental in shaping financial strategy and ensuring fiscal health and compliance.Head of Finance Day-to-day of the role:
  • Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management and the board of directors.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the company’s financial records.
  • Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Manage cash flow and prepare financial reports and statements.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations.
  • Work closely with other departments to help them plan and manage their budgets.
Head of Finance Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Significant experience in a senior financial management role.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing finance teams.
  • Excellent understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
  • Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
  • Professional qualification (e.g., CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in MS Office and finance software.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
