The role includes:• Teaching Construction qualifications from Entry level to Level 2, focusing on electrics, plumbing, carpentry and bricklaying• Creating an inspirational learning environment with high expectations for learner achievement.• Planning and updating schemes of work to meet curriculum and accreditation requirements.• Using varied teaching strategies and resources tailored to individual learner needs.• Maintaining classroom discipline and safeguarding student wellbeing.Qualifications required for the Construction Tutor• Recognised teaching qualification (minimum Level 3).• Extensive experience in teaching and planning.• Occupational background in construction skills (Bricklaying, Carpentry, Electrics, Plumbing).• Experience working with young people with complex needs.• Knowledge of diverse teaching and behaviour management strategies.This position is available immediately and will be subject to enhanced DBS and employment checks.
