We are currently seeking a Cover Supervisor / Unqualifed Teacher to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and confident in leading a classroom independently when the regular teacher is unavailable.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-set lesson plans and effectively manage the classroom in the absence of the class teacher.
  • Ensure a positive and conducive learning environment where students are motivated and engaged.
  • Maintain control of the classroom, addressing any behavioral issues in line with the school's policies.
  • Provide support and guidance to students to help them stay on task with the lesson objectives.
  • Work collaboratively with other teaching staff and support staff to ensure a smooth running of the school day.
  • Carry out any other duties as required to support the smooth operation of the school.


What We Are Looking For:

  • Previous experience as a cover supervisor, teaching assistant, or in an educational setting is preferred.
  • A strong, confident presence in the classroom with the ability to manage student behaviour effectively.
  • Ability to follow and deliver lesson plans prepared by the class teacher.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with both students and staff.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work across various subject areas and year groups.
  • A proactive attitude with a genuine interest in education and the learning process.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., a degree or teaching qualification).
