Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a Driver Knowledge Instructor to join their training company based in Kent. Our client has offices on the Isle of Sheppey and in Maidstone, this role can be based in either office.
The role entails:
Delivering training to learners through Zoom, Live Stream and in person. This role will be office based, but will involve delivering training to learners throughout the country.
Our client provides workshops which are tailored to provide knowledge and understanding to learners wishing to enter or progress in the HGV industry
Subjects include:
- Drivers' Hours and Tachograph
- Manoeuvring Vehicle for Categories C and C+E
- Daily Vehicle Checks
- Driver Behaviour and Customer Care
- Health and Safety
- Tail Lift Safety
- Pallet Truck Safety
- Manual Handling
- Safe Loading
- Safe and Fuel Efficient Driving
- Coupling and Uncoupling
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience
- A background within the HGV Industry or a training
- Good knowledge of the HGV Industry
- Confidence teaching a class learners
- A passion for teaching and the ability to successfully engage learners when delivering training
- A willingness to learn expand your own knowledge
- Knowledge and experience using Zoom
- A positive attitude
- A high level of customer service
- Excellent communication skills
Other details:
- The salary for this position is £28,000, plus a KPI bonus (potential maximum bonus is £4,000 per year)
- Full Time
- 4 day week shift rota basis Monday - Sunday
- Weekday shifts are based on a 42 hour working week, with weekend shifts being a 35 hour week
- The rota will cover 1 weekend in 3
