HR Team AssistantJob Type: Full-time, Permanent (Hybrid) We are seeking a dedicated HR Team Assistant to join an award winning & dynamic HR department for a law firm in Kent. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to be an integral part of an existing HR team, supporting a wide range of tasks including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and general administrative duties. Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support: Provide essential day-to-day administrative support, such as managing schedules, organising meetings, and handling correspondence for the HR team.
  • Recruitment Assistance: Support the recruitment process by posting job adverts, scheduling interviews, coordinating with candidates, and preparing offer letters.
  • Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process by preparing new hire documentation, conducting pre-employment checks, and ensuring a smooth transition for new employees.
  • Employee Relations: Address employee queries, assist in the preparation of HR documents, and maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
  • HR Projects: Participate in various HR projects and initiatives, including intranet updates, training sessions, and performance reviews.
  • Data Management: Maintain and update the HR database and employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Compliance: Help ensure HR policies and procedures are followed, supporting the team in meeting compliance requirements.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in an administrative role, ideally within a professional services environment.

Skills:

  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
