Our client is expanding due to success and looking for loyal, reliable Manufacturing professionals, ideally with a background in agricultural or food production environments to join them on a full time, permanent basis!

Working as a Production /Machine Operator, duties include:

  • Working independently in a fast-paced industrial factory environment
  • Working at height and in confined spaces
  • Operating machinery, using basic maths skills to weigh raw materials and follow specifications accurately
  • Record and document production accurately
  • Drive a forklift truck (counterbalance/reach)
  • Ensuring smooth receipt and despatch of raw materials
  • Basic fault finding
  • Testing raw materials
  • Carrying out quality checks
  • Cleaning industrial machinery

The successful candidate will have:

  • A solid working history within relevant roles
  • An valid fork lift licence (counterbalance or reach)
  • A good level of physical fitness and strength – heavy lifting and stamina required
  • Willingness to work at height and in confined spaces
  • Ideally have worked in food production, pharmaceutical, agricultural or FMCG manufacturing
  • Experience operating machinery including basic fault finding
  • Good level of common sense
  • Basic maths skills
  • A good attitude ‘muck in’ attitude
  • A desire to progress within a company
