Key Responsibilities:
  • Processing payroll for a variety of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Handling payroll queries and liaising with clients regarding payroll-related matters.
  • Managing auto-enrolment pensions and statutory payments (SMP, SSP, etc.).
  • Preparing and submitting RTI returns and year-end reporting.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of payroll legislation and best practices.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Previous experience in a payroll-focused role within an accountancy practice.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems and UK payroll legislation.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple client accounts.
  • Good communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues.
