Key Responsibilities:

Processing payroll for a variety of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Handling payroll queries and liaising with clients regarding payroll-related matters.
Managing auto-enrolment pensions and statutory payments (SMP, SSP, etc.).
Preparing and submitting RTI returns and year-end reporting.
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of payroll legislation and best practices.

The Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience in a payroll-focused role within an accountancy practice.
Strong knowledge of payroll systems and UK payroll legislation.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple client accounts.
Good communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues.
A proactive and organised approach to work.
