- Handling payroll queries and liaising with clients regarding payroll-related matters.
- Managing auto-enrolment pensions and statutory payments (SMP, SSP, etc.).
- Preparing and submitting RTI returns and year-end reporting.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of payroll legislation and best practices.
- Previous experience in a payroll-focused role within an accountancy practice.
- Strong knowledge of payroll systems and UK payroll legislation.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple client accounts.
- Good communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues.
