Responsibilities:
- Employer Branding & Recruitment - Develop and promote the companies employer brand to attract top talent. Leading the end-to-end recruitment process. From recommending new and innovative ways of attracting new talent, through to advertising, working with external partners and platforms, managing the candidate journey and onboarding new joiners.
- Creation and implementation of the People Plan - Collaborate with the senior leadership team to develop, create and implement a people plan aligned the to the agencies strategic objectives.
- Performance Management - Implement and manage the companies appraisal system, looking for opportunities to enhance and make the process more effective.
- Support & coach managers to carry out effective performance reviews.
- Learning & Development - Lead the learning and development plan.
- HR Administration - Oversee all HR Administration including coordination of payroll, employee records & people changes, pension, , contractual changes, private medical insurance and recruitment.
- Health and Safety - Own the risk assessment process and plan, and coordinate the wider team to implement required actions.
- Culture and Engagement - Support and foster a positive work environment, which reflects the agencies values and culture.
- Develop retention strategies and deliver initiatives that boost engagement, wellbeing and job satisfaction. Play a lead role in the agencies DE&I strategy and plans.
- Policy Development & Compliance - Develop, review and update HR policies and procedures in line with UK employment law and best practice. Ensure the agency remains compliant with all legal requirements.
- Onboarding and Exit - Manage the end to end onboarding process, ensuring new hires are seamlessly integrated into the agency. Oversee the exit process, including conducting exit interviews and ensuring a smooth transition.
- Employee Relations - Provide advice and guidance to Senior Leadership Team and Line Managers on people related matters, i.e. capability, including employment law implications and best practice. Oversee updates to HR policies. Handling sensitive issues with professionalism and confidentiality.
Key Requirements
- 4 years HR experience at HR Manager level, ideally within the creative, advertising, or media sectors.
- CIPD Qualified, or relevant experience
- Strong understanding of UK Employment law and HR best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work both collaboratively and independently.
