This HR Assistant role would suit someone with previous office-based HR support experience who is looking to gain additional experience and exposure within a fast-paced, varied HR department. The successful HR Assistant would be happy to commit to the full duration of this 6 month maternity contract and could come from either a recruitment agency or an internal HR team.

Duties for this HR Assistant will include but not be limited to:

  • Assisting with advertising current vacancies on Indeed
  • Carrying out the initial screening of applicant CVs
  • Administrative support to the new starter /onboarding process including offer letters and contracts
  • Scheduling in training
  • Working with payroll to setup new starters
  • Typing up any review / disciplinary meeting minutes
  • Ad-hoc administration for HR

Knowledge, skills and experience required for this HR Assistant:

  • Good communication and people skills
  • Working knowledge of all Microsoft packages and confident learning new IT systems
  • Self-motivated and organised
  • Good attention to detail
