Reed Business Support is assisting our client in Maidstone in their search for a Technical Support Specialist. This role is ideal for someone with a background in the food industry, offering a dynamic work environment where you will support various technical and research & development tasks.

Technical Support Specialist Day-to-day of the role:
  • Provide various statements as requested by customers, such as GMO, ingredient, and country of origin statements.
  • Send site-based certificates like FSSC22000, Kosher, Halal, and GMP to customers and assist with related queries.
  • Generate and ensure the accuracy of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for formulations and manage data for label generation.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and manage the technical inbox effectively.
  • Support the R&D team with project-based tasks and contribute to the monthly KPI report.
  • Arrange for the completion of customer questionnaires, log requests, and send acknowledgements.
Technical Support Specialist Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in the food industry is highly desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of handling customer inquiries and providing clear guidance.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and adapt to new challenges.
