The Role - Private Client Lawyer

The firm is currently seeking a skilled Private Client Lawyer to join their dedicated team at one of their Kent offices. This is a key role that requires expertise in private client services, including wills, estate planning, and trust administration. Ideal for those with a strong foundation in private client work and a passion for delivering clear, compassionate advice, this position will allow you to develop further as a specialist while helping families secure their futures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a varied caseload focused on estate planning, wills, and tax-efficient trust structures
  • Advising clients on lasting powers of attorney and Court of Protection applications
  • Supporting clients through probate and estate administration, including tax and inheritance planning
  • Engaging in detailed trusts and charities work, including trust administration and tax planning
  • Assisting clients with deputyship matters
  • Maintaining relationships with clients through thoughtful, approachable service and regular follow-up
