A great opportunity has arisen for a Production Planning Assistant to work on a full-time permanent basis within a long-established manufacturing company located in Medway Towns.
You will be dealing with the production planning/ sales administration on a daily basis reporting directly to the Programmer Manager. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in programme management in a specialist industry.
You will be IT literate with a high level of data accuracy and have previous administration experience ideally gained in a similar role. Export licence application experience would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be given.
Your Duties will include the following:
- Receipt of new customer orders and process in accordance with the company contract review procedure
- Load sales orders on to the company MRP planning system
- Raise and issue pro-forma invoices when required
- Update customer schedules / order book reports
- Daily scanning of all invoices / certificates of conformity, and email or upload to customer web-based portals
- Communication with customers via, email, Teams, GMeet, telephone and on-site visits
- Update daily production output charts to measure throughput
- Update weekly work in progress tracker
- Support with customer booking in/invoice queries
- General admin tasks
The hours of work are Monday-Thursday 08.15-17.00 and Friday 08.30-13.15.
