What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead the site’s quality agenda, ensuring compliance with all food safety, quality, and regulatory standards
  • Manage the QMS and drive continuous improvement across all areas of quality and compliance
  • Own the audit process, internal, external, customer, and third-party, with confidence and precision
  • Lead, coach and develop the QA team, building a strong culture of accountability and high standards
  • Work closely with production and technical teams to ensure best-in-class food safety and hygiene practices
  • Investigate non-conformances and customer complaints, carrying out root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Champion a right-first-time culture across site, embedding quality into daily operations
  • Maintain BRC and HACCP standards, ensuring the business remains audit-ready at all times
  • Bring energy, ideas, and a continuous improvement mindset to the table, every single day

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a Quality Manager, Quality Supervisor or senior QA role within a food manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of HACCP, BRCGS, food safety, and UK/EU food legislation
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Detail-focused, highly organised, and comfortable making decisions in a fast-moving environment
  • Experienced in leading audits and dealing with customers and retailers
  • A real passion for food quality, safety, and doing things the right way
