Our client is seeking a part time Sales Administrator. Fully office based no hybrid working available.

Salary: £16,700 pa

Location: near Maidstone, Kent - would suit car driver

Hours: 21 hours per week

Wednesday and Thursday 8.30am to 5pm

Friday 9am to 4pm

Training period may inlcude working other days

The part time Sales Administrator will support the completion of the tender process, ensuring the strategy to win business.

Sales Administrator - part time responsibilities:

  • Develop and project manage all contracts with regards to acknowledgement of enquiry, response to deadline, quotation follow up and associated activities.
  • To process sales quotations, tenders and administration
  • Ensure all drawings, correct liaison and procedures are approved and circulated as appropriate in association with Sales Production Co-ordinator.
  • To effectively communicate with the Sales Production Co-ordinator on Production areas within Manufacturing, ensuring that customer orders are processed promptly and accurately through to completion with all the necessary approvals gained.
  • Maintain a current and accurate knowledge of products - training given
  • To prepare and present relevant account/project details on achievement and activities in line with our monthly review procedure and other meetings.

Sales Administrator - part time - skills and experience required

  • Excellent level of Excel
  • Self-motivated, disciplined and enthusiastic.
  • Tenacious, resilient and a real 'can do’ attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communicator required.
  • Strong face to face, voice to voice and online communication skills
  • Sound prioritisation, workload and time management skills
  • Flexibility is required to cover holidays, absences and any other business needs’

Essential:

Minimum 2 years’ experience within estimating/quote delivery

Minimum of GCSE’s, grades A - C including Maths, English.

IT literate - working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook and Excel
