We at GSL Education Kent are currently working in partnership with a well-established secondary school in Maidstone that is seeking a Subject Lead for Computing to join their team from January 2025. The school is looking for an experienced and passionate Subject Lead for Computing who can inspire and lead within the department, bringing innovation and dedication to developing a dynamic and engaging curriculum. This role offers flexibility, with both full-time and part-time options available, ideal for the right Subject Lead for Computing candidate.

The Successful Candidate Will:

  • Be a qualified teacher with QTS and experience in teaching Computing in UK secondary schools.
  • Have recent experience in teaching and leading within a Computing department, ideally as a Subject Lead for Computing or in a similar role.
  • Be proven to raise and maintain attainment levels, keeping standards high and ensuring continuous improvement within the Computing curriculum.
  • Be an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual who leads by example and demonstrates best practices as a Computing Subject Lead.
  • Have strong behaviour management and an ability to engage and inspire students of varying abilities.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills with students, colleagues, and parents.
