Interim Property Compliance Consultant

Based in Kent, hybrid working

Length: 3 months initially with likelihood of extension

We are working exclusively with a Kent District Council, who are looking for a Property Compliance expert that can assist the Port and Harbour from its current position to a compliant status, in line with the council’s property and compliance policy. 

Key Responsibilities of the Interim Property Compliance Consultant:

  • The four main areas of focus are EICR, Fire Risk Assessment, Legionella and Asbestos, where they would like a deeper level of knowledge being able to review the existing reports and identify if the recommendations are required under relevant regulations
  • Ability to put mitigating factors in place to reduce the risk without carrying out the expensive corrective measures for the vacant properties
  • Potentially a longer-term option to assist in projects ensuring the vacant buildings reach compliance and become lettable units again

Experience and knowledge required of the Interim Property Compliance Consultant:

  • Looking for a candidate who has previous experience within Property Compliance
  • Working knowledge and experience of the four main areas of EICR, Fire Risk Assessment, Legionella and Asbestos
