Sonic Summary

A temporary 1:1 Tutor position is available in Kent, starting ASAP and ongoing during term time only, with hours ranging from 1 to 6 per day, Monday to Friday.
The pay rate for this role is between £25 and £35 per hour, depending on experience.
Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience working within a UK school, with a background in teaching National Curriculum core subjects and experience with complex needs such as SEMH and ASC.
QTS status or equivalent is required, or unqualified candidates must have two years' experience teaching core subjects.
The role involves face-to-face teaching within the community, and successful applicants will undergo an Enhanced Disclosure via the DBS.

We are looking for candidates who are:-

Available during school hours up to 30 hours per week.
Experienced in delivering differentiated National Curriculum core subjects.
Experience teaching young people with a wide range of complex and challenging needs including SEMH/ASC/MLD/SpLD
Exceptional behaviour management strategies.
Prepared to work face to face within the community.

Requirements

Background teaching in English, Maths, Science or SEN classes ranging from KS1-KS5.
QTS status (or equivalent) or unqualified with two years' experience teaching NC core subjects
Experience working with SEMH/ASD/EBD/SEMH and associated complex needs.
2 years previous experience working within a UK school.
