The Role: As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial success of diverse projects within the healthcare and education sectors. This position is based in Maidstone and offers a dynamic work environment where you will collaborate with a dedicated team to deliver high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for various projects.
- Manage and monitor project costs, ensuring financial control and accuracy.
- Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and address any financial concerns.
- Provide financial reporting and analysis to project managers and senior management.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a focus on construction projects, particularly in healthcare and education.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts and procurement methods.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or related field.
