Description
- Inter-company recharges and invoicing
- Posting journals on accounting software
- Monthly revaluation of foreign currency accounts
- Capitalising assets and running monthly depreciation
- Month end reporting for various small companies
- Preparation of board minutes
- Assist with filing of accounts at Companies House
- Reconciliation of various balance sheet items
- Analysis of P&L items
- Deal with incoming emails regarding invoicing queries
- Ad hoc duties
Profile
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
- A possible degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- or someone who is an AAT Studier - with plans to move on to (i.e ACCA)
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Strong numerical skills
- Attention to detail
- Great organisational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
