We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant and positive impact on children’s learning and engagement. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils to bridge gaps in their learning and boost their confidence to re-engage in a school setting.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Support pupils with their learning activities in the classroom.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers to tailor learning experiences to individual student needs.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Encourage and support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Facilitate a safe and positive learning environment.
  • Engage with pupils in a variety of educational settings, including one-to-one and group sessions.
  • Monitor and record pupils’ progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Participate in training and adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum of five Level 2 qualifications, including English and Mathematics (GCSE or equivalent).
  • Previous experience working with children is beneficial but not essential.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive and flexible approach to work.
  • Willingness to undertake relevant training and professional development.
