About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to work at a specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) school. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners by delivering engaging lessons in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to meet the needs of students with SEMH and additional needs.
  • Foster a safe, nurturing classroom environment that promotes positive relationships and emotional well-being.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to support students with varying academic levels, ensuring all learners are engaged and supported.
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants, pastoral staff, and external professionals to provide holistic support for each child.
  • Use innovative and creative approaches to inspire students and help them achieve their potential.

Requirements

  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience working with children with SEMH or SEN (preferred).
  • Patience, resilience, and a commitment to helping students overcome barriers to learning.
  • Be a driver with access to your own vehicle.
