We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to provide individualised tuition to students who are not currently in mainstream education due to social, emotional, and mental health issues. This role is crucial in creating a nurturing and caring atmosphere for students to feel safe and encouraged to learn. The successful candidate will work within our school and will be responsible for facilitating the personal, social, and educational development of students with SEN, SEMH, ASC, ADHD, and other learning difficulties.

Day to Day of the role:• Work with students with varying needs including SEN, SEMH, ASC, ADHD with ability and patience.• Plan and deliver tailored sessions on a range of subjects to support individual learning needs.• Provide in-class support for named students, coordinating with the Head of School as necessary.• Maintain records and information systems with due regard for data protection and confidentiality.• Deliver a wide range of extra-curricular activities to promote learning, good behaviour, social skills, and well-being.• Assist with the transition of students to mainstream school or college.• Participate in the comprehensive assessment of children to identify and address barriers to learning.• Work closely with the Head of School to ensure the needs of children with special education needs are met.• Provide regular written reports on your work as directed by the Head of School.• Comply with all relevant legislation, school policies, and procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:• Experience working with students with SEN, SEMH, ASC, ADHD.• Good knowledge of the National Curriculum and the ability to differentiate for individual students.• Proficiency in numeracy and literacy.• Ability to keep records, plan your own workload, and prioritise effectively.• Commitment to working with diversity and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people.
