We are recruiting on behalf of one of our clients for a Supply Chain Administrator to join their friendly Planning and Procurement Team. Working Monday-Friday, 08.00-16.30, Monday-Friday with a 15.30 finish on a Friday.

Your Duties will include:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day administration tasks of the company's purchasing including raising and reviewing purchase orders, placing orders,chasing deliveries, receipting stock and matching invoices. Liaising with Vendors and other internal departments, communicating all supply issues to internal and external departments.
  • Creating and updating Suppliers within the D365 System, liaising with suppliers to achieve best prices and lead times, monitor and maintaining stocks for general items, such as stationery, consumable items.
  • To provide support to the planning and Logistics Department when needed to ensure customers orders are dispatched accurately.
  • Ensuring all stock receipts and adjustments are input and keeping the Planning, Procurement and Logistics Managers are kept updated on all key issues, updated with month end figures.
  • Assist in the investigation of Customer Complaints and other queries and assist in implementing corrective actions, assisting the QA Department with any auditing requirements.

Skills/Experience

  • Experience in both purchasing and/or Planning would be beneficial, however full training will be provided.
  • Fully proficient in Microsoft Applications
  • High degree of accuracy, attention to detail
  • Work under pressure to deadlines

  • Excellent communicator
