The position is for a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester located in Maidstone, offering a basic salary of £30-£40k plus an uncapped bonus scheme, with potential earnings exceeding £50k.
The role requires candidates to have a minimum of NVQ Level 2 or 3 qualification or equivalent time served, along with good all-round technical and mechanical experience.
Working hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with one late night every other Tuesday, and no weekend work required.

Candidates with MOT experience, either current or lapsed, will have an advantage, and a willingness to tackle various tasks within the workshop is essential.

Due to a recent workshop refurbishment and expanison, our client is looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester to add to their existing workshop team. Running for over 20 years a alongside an established and well-run Used Car Dealer based in Maidstone, our client is looking for an experienced candidate is looking for a new long term role where they can enjoy a positive work place and a good work life balance with no weekend working. They have a great track record and an excellent reputation based on firm foundations of outstanding customer service and delivering top vehicles at highly competitive prices.

Good basic salary dependant on experience + a very competitive bonus scheme. Uncapped OTE and some technicians are earning in excess of £50k.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.30-6 - 1 Late night every other Tuesday. NO SATURDAYS

Candidate Requirements:

Good all round technical and mechanical experience
Wide range of brand experience
MOT experience either current or lapsed would be an advantage
Ability to work independently
NVQ Level 2 or 3 qualification or equivalent time served
Willingness to turn their hand to anything within the workshop
Servicing Experience
Diagnostic experience preferred but not essential
