Commis Chef - Large Spa Hotel with Golf and Leisure Facilities - Up to £28,000 p/a 40 hours a week No Split Shifts

This Client has a very successful Hotel, Golf and Conference facility, in rural Essex. Established over many years. This Hotel is also a very popular with holiday makers. They have a busy calendar for 2024 with corporate golf days and special event days already booked and with 2 restaurants.
The Role:
They are currently looking for a Commis Chef to join their kitchen team. Experience in banqueting and function work preferred. There will be potential for development and to progress with the business. Due to the location, you will have to have your own transport.
Responsible for:
A Commis Chef with a minimum of 1 years in a similar property or quality restaurant
To liaise with the Head chef and Senior Sous Chef and Chef De Partie in the daily running of the Restaurants and to assist with the overseeing of the Banqueting operations
Excellent management skills including monitoring maintenance, health and safety in the kitchen at all times
Must have a hard-working attitude
Excellent relationship building and rapport building skills
Knowledge of whats new in food trends
