My client provides state of the art equipment to automotive and MOT centres throughout the UK. They now seek a Technical Support Engineer to join their growing team.
Role:
- To provide IT Support to the client base via phone, remote access and live chat
- To log all support tickets and advise management re. ongoing or regular technical issues
- To provide support re. blue tooth, WiFi, Windows, Network, specialist software issues (training provided on software)
- Give exceptional customer service
- Ensure the customer is fully up to date re. support process
- Liaise with other departments within the organisation to ensure technical support issues are handled efficiently at all times
- Update Field Engineers of specific technical issues that will need to be addressed
- Pass on technical issues to other Engineers if you can't resolve the issue
Skills required:
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Technical support experience, although training will be provided on in-house software
- Technical support experience on Windows applications, WiFi, Network, Cloud systems
- A driving licence and own vehicle is essential to get to the office.
