The Role: Warehouse/Stores Assistant - Maldon £25,000

Our forward-thinking client are currently looking to expand within their warehouse department. The purpose of the role is to ensure the security of the Supply Chain by implementing best practices in warehouse operations, including domestic and international distribution, goods-in, stock management, and facility upkeep, all in adherence to quality management systems and health and safety policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee goods receipt, preparation for inspection, and processing through ERP systems for accurate stock control.
  • Ensure devices are routed correctly within the warehouse following process guidelines, maintaining accurate transactions.
  • Perform and resolve cyclic inventory counts and discrepancies to maintain stock integrity.
  • Pick, pack, and dispatch daily sales orders with attention to labelling and packaging standards.
  • Maintain a 5S-compliant environment and adhere to health and safety policies, including risk assessments and PPE use.
  • Support the Customer Service Team and handle internal customer inquiries effectively and promptly.
  • Follow ISO13485 procedures and ensure accurate documentation for all processes.
  • Address stock discrepancies and quality issues in liaison with Quality Assurance, while driving continuous process improvement.
  • Participate in maintaining and enhancing warehouse practices to uphold high standards.
  • Log and resolve complaints, returns, and non-compliances, ensuring adherence to quality assurance protocols.
  • Provide operational support during colleague absences or increased workloads to ensure seamless warehouse functioning.
