Location: Basildon
Salary: Up to 37,000 (depending on experience)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM (1-hour lunch break)

A well-established and growing logistics company, specialising in temperature-controlled, European road freight, groupage, part load, and full load operations. With a strong focus on customer service, we offer tailored solutions that set us apart from the competition.
Our client is seeking a Road Freight Coordinator to manage and coordinate both import and export operations across Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage groupage, part load, and full load road freight operations across Europe.
- Handle temperature-controlled shipments and ensure compliance with transport regulations.
- Provide competitive spot quotes, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
- Process bookings, input orders, and liaise with suppliers to ensure smooth shipment progress.
- Oversee invoicing procedures, including supplier invoice verification.
- Deliver top-tier customer service and maintain strong client relationships.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in road freight forwarding.
- Experience with imports and exports.
- Knowledge of customs procedures (preferred).
- Strong customer relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
