We are seeking a skilled and reliable Production Operatives to Join our team of great candidates to work for one of our top Clients.

Hours: 15:00 - 12:30 (19:00 finish on a Friday)

Pay Rate:£15.37 per hour.

Location:Malmsbury, SN16

Terms: Temp to Perm

Main Duties:

  • Operation of specialist laser cutting machines to manufacture high quality MDF products at the required quality and output levels.
  • Follow quality monitoring processes and procedures to ensure the highest standards possible and provide feedback to supervisors when required.
  • Ensure correct packaging is used and that all products are cut through accurately, precisely and cleanly.
  • Monitor all waste and non - compliant product and record all such occurrences, requesting re-prints and replacement packaging when required.
  • Scan all jobs onto the ERP system in real time to ensure up to date information on all production processes.
  • Prioritise health and safety in all areas of operation, ensuring adherence to all risk assessments, safe systems of work and training. PPE to be worn whenever required.
  • Machine maintenance, cleaning, trouble shooting and fault finding, working in conjunction with technical department when required.
  • Display excellent levels of teamwork and co-operation when working with colleagues in other departments / other areas of production.
  • Maintain log sheets of filter change activity and gas changeovers.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy work environment at all times, ensuring high levels of housekeeping and suggesting improvements wherever possible.
  • Follow all required protocols when operating the lasers, such as start-up and shut- down procedures and accurately ID stamping all finished puzzle boxes.
  • Maintain stocks of bags and inserts and ensure that correct specifications of both are used for each product.
  • Participate in and ensure complete accuracy of periodic stock takes whenever required.
