Description
The key responsibilities:
- Oversees or conducts financial activities, including financial analysis and reporting (both for statutory and management reporting), Accounts Payable and Receivable, Inventory and Costs control, budgeting and forecasting
- Optimises the business/financial flow while ensuring compliance with tax regulations
- Analyses/drives financial and tax impact of new business opportunities and/or internal reorganisations
- Provides advice and expertise to managers to help them understand financial reports, develop budgets, enhance financial performance, and manage their financial responsibilities
- Support strategic decision-making with sound financial insights
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
- Coordinate with other departments to achieve business objectives
- Prepare financial reports for senior management
- Monitor and manage budgeting and forecasting activities
- Propose and drive implementation of continuous improvement and best practices
- Partnering with internal stakeholders such as Legal, HR, IT, Insurance, Purchasing, Strategy, Sales, Operations and Mergers and Acquisitions
Profile
The successful candidate:
- Will either be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or QBE with demonstrable experience
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail with experience of budgeting and forecasting from prior positions
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and standards
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in using financial software and MS Office
