HR Advisor opportunity available working for a leading company in York, North Yorkshire. They are seeking a proactive and dedicated HR Advisor to join their team. This role will be pivotal in supporting the HR function and delivering high quality advice and guidance and administrative support across a range of people activities. Ideally you will have a strong understanding of UK employment law and experience in employee relations, recruitment and performance management.

The role:

HR Administration

Support with employee relation issues including disciplinary and grievance cases, performance management and absence management

Recruitment and onboarding

Policy and procedure guidance

Training and Development

Compliance and Reporting

Essential skills and experience:

CIPD Level 5 qualified or equivalent experience

Advanced working knowledge of HRIS systems, Microsoft Office Suite with Advanced excel skills and other HR software tools

Proven experience as an HR Advisor or in a similar role in the UK

Good working knowledge of UK employment law, HR best practices and current HR trends

Ability to gather and evaluate workforce data to help make key decisions
