A leading organisation based in North Yorkshire are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join their people team.  

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Head of People to enhance the Employee Experience and align People strategies with business objectives.
  • Coach line managers on improving capabilities through performance and talent systems, and other ER aspects.
  • Provide end-to-end case management for ER issues, ensuring fair treatment and compliance with legislative requirements.
  • Support the HR team with day-to-day administrative tasks and contribute to the overall efficiency of the department.
  • Manager training inductions and job evaluations
  • Support with HR transformation projects 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experienced HR Advisory / generalist experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of employment law, HR policies, and employee engagement strategies.
  • Proven ability to manage ER cases with attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organisation.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills, with a calm and composed approach to challenges.
