You'll be responsible for driving accurate costing, budgeting, and financial reporting, while working closely with managers to ensure financial data supports operational decision-making. Key Responsibilities will include...
- Costing & Production Accounting: Monitor and analyse production data (e.g., consumption, efficiency) to provide key insights.
- Financial Reporting: Contribute to monthly financial closing activities, and support the preparation of management accounts.
- Industrial Controlling: Manage financial processes such as working orders, bill of materials, job cycles, and materials consumption.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with department heads on budget creation and control.
- Stock & Inventory Management: Ensure the accuracy of inventory records for accounting purposes.
- KPI Analysis: Produce and present operational performance data to senior management.
- Cost Analysis: Perform in-depth cost analysis to support operational improvements and cost control.
Who You Are
To be successful in this role, you will need to bring:
- AAT Qualification or equivalent.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in industrial or manufacturing finance is essential
- Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and industrial processes.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., EG, Oracle JDE, SAP).
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
