Your new firmA leading independent accountancy practice with multiple offices across the North West seek an Accounts and Audit semi senior to join their fast paced team, who have significant presence across the north west. The firm are looking to appoint an experienced individual to work with a broad and varied client base, who offer strong study support within a role with flexibility to help you progress. Due to ongoing growth within the firm, the accounts and audit job has arisen.Your new roleAs a semi senior you will be responsible for assisting with accounting and audit assignments. Your duties will include preparing year end accounts for manager's review undertaking audit fieldwork on client site and ad hoc bookkeeping and VAT work. You will work with a broad range of clients including sole traders, partnerships, limited companies, groups and charities. This role will be more focused towards preparation of accounts and the majority of audit assignments will be local.What you'll need to succeedThe directors are looking to appoint an individual that has past experience working in a practice environment preparing accounts to review, some experience with audit would be preferable. The partners will consider applicants who are either QBE, AAT qualified or ACCA / ACA part qualified.
