Your new companyA Cheshire based Accounting Practice are on the hunt to recruit an Accounts junior / Semi-Senior to join their developing team. This firm provides generalist accountancy services to their clients, of which are mostly SME businesses and sit within a wide range of industries. This is an established firm and will be a fantastic opportunity for an experienced accounts candidate wanting a role in which they can develop in their professional career.Your new roleAs Accounts Semi-Senior / Junior, you will be responsible for VAT returns and advising clients on of VAT liabilities. Most of the clients you will support will be owner managed businesses within multiple different industries. You will communicate directly with clients and will be a key point of contact for any queries that need resolved. You will use a range of software including Iris, Sage, Quickbooks and Xero.What you'll need to succeed

  • Excellent organisational & time management abilities
  • Great attention to detail
  • Able to manage a portfolio of clients & liaise with the team
  • Confident with clients
  • Maintain objectivity, independence and integrity always
  • Be an ambassador for the firm and maintain client relationships
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with online computer software. Ie Xero, QuickBooks and Sage.
  • Competent in producing statutory accounts using FRS 102 & FRS 105
  • Knowledge of Sage Accounts an advantage
