What you'll do:

As an Enthusiastic Assistant Management Accountant, you will play an integral role in bolstering the finance function. Your daily responsibilities will encompass assisting with the creation of monthly management accounts, balance sheet formulation and reconciliation, and supporting budgeting and forecasting processes. You will also be involved in intercompany accounting, preparing month-end journals for fixed assets, prepayments & accruals etc., formulating weekly cashflow forecast information, variance analysis of financial reports, preparing quarterly VAT returns and liaising with HMRC. Additionally, you will participate in monthly management meetings and engage with stakeholders regularly. Your role will also involve ad-hoc financial analysis and reports as requested.

What you bring:

The ideal Enthusiastic Assistant Management Accountant candidate will bring a wealth of experience in managing accounts. They should be ACCA/CIMA part-qualified with prior experience in management accounts being essential. They should have experience producing key management information with keen attention to detail. Excellent MS Excel skills are required along with the ability to work independently but possess strong team skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills are also necessary.
