The CompanyAxon Moore are exclusively partnering with a fast growing, financial services business in Manchester. Due to continued growth they require a Part Qualified individual who is eager to learn, develop and study whilst working closely with the impressive Finance Manager.Salary – £35000 - £40000Location – Manchester/RemoteHybrid – Remote working - we do require someone within the Greater Manchester area for meetings etc.Responsibilities will include:
  • Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
  • Investigate discrepancies and ensure accuracy in financial records
  • Complete bank reconciliations
  • Supplier set up (including bank details)
  • Process invoices, payments, and receipts in accordance with company policy
  • Maintain accounts payable and receivable records, ensuring timely payments and collections
  • Review Marketing spend against budget
  • Prepare month end journals
  • Preparing accrual and prepayment schedules
  • Support the production of monthly management accounts
  • Support the production of monthly/quarterly reports
  • Prepare and gather information to assist with the external audit
  • Preparing claim reconciliations
Person Specification:
  • CIMA/ACCA Part Qualified
  • Strong academic background. 2:1 Degree in Math/Finance.
  • Strong interpersonal skills. Able to speak to people at all levels.
  • Previous experience within a busy working environment.
  • Intermediate Excel experience.
