Your new FirmThis is an exciting opportunity for you to join a well-established, growing firm based in Manchester, with offices across the Northwest. With years of experience and establishment they specialise in departments ranging from audit and advisory to tax and more. In terms of their clients, they have a varying portfolio, including sole traders, OMBs and limited companies for you to extend your current knowledge on, who are local but also spread across the country. Due to ongoing internal growth within the practice, an audit and accounts mixed senior job has arisen, where you can further both your already existing audit and accounts knowledge.Your new roleYour new role will entail you joining a fast paced, growing team of audit and account professionals who you can both learn and grow from. Day-to-day activities will consist of assisting the team and seniors with the planning and fieldwork stages of the audit whilst helping to ensure quality, adherence, and compliance with clients. You will also work closely with the juniors in the team, advising them and guiding them through stages of the audit, whilst maintaining current and forming new client relationships. In terms of accounts work you will be involved with preparing accounts to both manager and partner review, working on statutory and management accounts.What you'll need to succeedTo succeed in this role, you will need to have had experience within an accountancy practice, whilst being part qualified in your ACCA or ACA qualification; finalist levels individuals will also be accepted. Previous work within a team is also ideal for success in this role; experience in assisting juniors within any stage of an audit is desired. Also having experience with preparing accounts before is also required of you and dealing with bookkeeping.What you'll get in returnIn return you will be offered a salary varying between £30,000 to £35,000 which will be dependant on your experience, whilst having the opportunity to be a apart of a leading firm with huge potential to develop and really see your career grow.
