Your new firmYou will be joining a leading, well-established top 20 practice, who are located across the North West, with over 100 years of experience and expertise. They specialise in varying service, including audit and assurance, advisory, tax, outsourcing, accounts, payroll and more, where your career can really see a step forward. With the backing of a larger group, you will see exposure to a varying client portfolio ranging from small local SMEs to larger national groups. Due to ongoing internal growth, they are now seeking an Audit Semi senior to join their already growing team and hit the ground running and strengthen the audit department.Your new roleYou will be joining a specialist team of audit professionals who you can both learn and develop from daily, to help you achieve upmost success in your new role. Your day-to-day duties will consist of assisting the team on audit assignments for varying clients from OMB's to SME's and more. You will assist in the planning of the audit, offering information to clients whilst working closely with them and identifying new services lines for them and taking a lead on the fieldwork stages where you will act as a direct point of contact for clients to deal with their queries daily. Other responsibilities consist of drafting and completing files for year-end financial statements and assisting seniors and juniors to complete tasks daily. What you'll need to succeedIn order to succeed in this role, you will need at least 2 years experience within a practice firm, doing audit work in all stages; previous accounts experience would be desired but is not mandatory. You must also be part qualified in your ACCA or ACA professional qualifications; finalists will also be accepted. Other skills required would be good interpersonal skills, that you can demonstrate when meeting clients and maintaining those already existing relationships, or new ones you form.
